weigh-in schedule
Friday, March 21, 2025
9:00–11:00 am and 4:00–6:00 pm
RecPlex - Main Arena
6500 Grand Avenue, WDM
Enter through entrance main doors and follow signs. We will have volunteers and signage to provide guidance that day.
Weigh-ins are first come first serve basis. Plan for wait times during high-traffic times.
Every lifter is required to weigh in. NO exceptions!
During weigh-ins you will:
Show ID/drivers license
Confirm date of birth, division and competition registered for
Provide opening attempts for bench press and deadlift in pound
In the event the morning of you don’t feel confident in your opening attempts you have 3 minutes prior to the flight starting to make changes.
Determine rack height for bench press
Be weighed. You are allowed to wear as little or as much as you would like. It is up to you. If you wish for privacy, let us know so we can remove everyone from the room with the exception of one other woman that will be recording your weight. If you are a minor, you must have a legal guardian present with you.
Have an opportunity to get a new RBI merch! On Friday, we’ll have our RBI merch booth set-up with all new merch dropping that day so plan to stop by and stock-up.
Flight information
Lifters will be flighted after all weigh-ins are completed. This allows us to keep the flights evenly numbered across the platforms and ensures a smooth day of lifting. The lightest weight classes will go first and then we work up from there.
You will receive your flight information via email the night before the WBC event. It will also be announced on Instagram and Facebook, as well as posted in the warm-up area the morning of the event.
If you are signed up for the event, but are no longer able to compete for any reason, please contact wbc-ia@raisethebarinitiative.com. That allows us to try and backfill your spot with someone on the waitlist.
No refunds or transfers will be given for cancellations.

7:30 am: Rules meeting (all participants must attend)
8:00 am: Bench Press Lift Begins
1st flight competes followed by remaining flights in numerical order
11:30 am: Intermission
12:00 pm: Deadlift Begins
1st flight competes followed by remaining flights in numerical order
4:00 pm: Awards
